- Active NWSL goalscorers with three or more career goals — around 206 players. Active means she has scored in 2025 or later.
- Why does the game only go back to 2016?
- Our goal data begins in 2016. The NWSL began in 2013, so Kim Little's 2014 Golden Boot, Abby Wambach's Western New York years, and Jess McDonald's early goals are not in the pool. We would rather say that plainly than quietly imply full league history.
- How is the daily puzzle chosen and when does it change?
- One puzzle a day, the same one for everyone, rolling over at your own local midnight. The order is fixed in advance and planned around which silhouettes have been approved.
- Do arrows show on every guess?
- On Age and Goals, yes, whenever the guess is not exact — including when the tile is white. The arrow points towards the answer.
- Does playing the archive affect my streak?
- No. Archive puzzles are replayable and deliberately do not count. A streak is something you earn a day at a time, not something you farm out of a backlog.
- Where is my progress stored?
- In your browser, on your device. There are no accounts and nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser storage clears your streak, and your history does not follow you to another device.
- Where do the clips come from, and why is there no face?
- During the puzzle, a short goal clip is transformed into a silent silhouette: no colour, kit, crest, crowd, stadium, or face — only pose. After the game ends, the same moment replays in colour as the reveal, with a source credit and fixture caption. Both encodes are served from our own storage.
- How do I report a clip or request removal?
- Use the takedown page. Requests are answered the same day.
