How to play

  1. Watch the loop. A single goal, stripped to a silhouette on black. No colour, no kit, no crest, no face. Only how a body moves.
  2. Name a goalscorer. Type any part of a name. You can only guess players in the pool, so a typo never costs you a turn. You get 8 guesses.
  3. Read the tiles. Every guess fills a row of six. Green is exact, yellow is close, white is no match. Arrows on Age and Goals point towards the answer.

The six tiles

Born
Where she was born. Yellow for a different country in the same confederation.
Age
Her age today. Yellow within 2 years. The arrow points to the answer.
Pos.
Her primary position. Exact only.
Goals
Career NWSL goals since 2016. Yellow within 5. The arrow points to the answer.

One a day

Everyone gets the same puzzle, and it rolls over at your own local midnight. A player who solves it in three has nothing left to do here, which is the point — the game earns its return visit by being over.

Six green tiles is not a win. Two players can share every value on the board; you have to name her.
